The retreat
Kotte’s yoga approach is fresh, fun and unique.
She aims to enrich people’s lives by providing quality creative and accessible yoga for every body – to engage, inspire and challenge you to become the best version of yourself. Her vision is to inspire optimism and happiness.
She returns to Fiji for her second fabulous retreat – join her for a week of sunshine, beaches, waterfalls, yoga, meditation and warm Fijian hospitality at Daku Resort.

Yoga practice
You will practice yoga twice daily.
Our excursions will take you to a spectacular waterfall, snorkelling out in the bay and optional walks around the steep rainforest trail behind the resort. There will be plenty of time for yourself, to relax and to explore.
Kotte’s yoga practice is suitable for all levels including beginners.

Teacher Kotte Aguilar
Kotte Aguilar is a yoga, mindfulness and meditation teacher and practitioner, with almost a decade of experience. She has spent her years advocating for inclusive yoga spaces, accessible yoga in the community, not only financially but also physically. With a focus and passion on youth work, and a mission to decommercialize the industry and sharing yoga with all kinds of audiences, Kotte’s innovative ways to offer yoga will make you feel inspired. She’s a two time Tedx speaker, and was the first yoga teacher to win an award in the Exercise Industry awards representing yoga. She is a passionate yogi and a mental advocate, a youth leader, and she describes herself as an advocate of justice and speaker of the truth.
Travel to Daku Resort
If you are traveling from New Zealand, Fiji Airways flies directly from Auckland to Savusavu via Nadi International airport (you clear immigration in Nadi and transfer to the domestic flight to Savusavu).
If you are coming from Christchurch, Air New Zealand fly to Nadi (via Auckland), where you will overnight, and then take the domestic flight to Savusavu the next day.

During this week, you’ll enjoy the rich culture and unspoilt nature of Fiji, the place where happiness comes naturally. We’re in Savusavu in Fiji’s North – known as the Hidden Paradise because it really is! We’ll take you out to snorkel on the beautiful coral reefs, to plunge into fresh waterfalls, to visit traditional Fijian villages where you’ll see a deeply hospitable corner of Fiji.
We’ve got a full programme planned – with some spare time to just relax.
