Susan: Yoga Mentor

  • Susan is a 500hr RYT and has an advanced diploma in Ayurvedic medicine. She has over 10 years of Facilitating Yoga teacher Trainings and because of this she has a strong focus on teaching the deeper limbs of yoga from the ancient texts.
  • She has business skills to share as she has co owned several different businesses and her own Yoga Studio for 10 years.
  • She has survived and thrived through a 32 yearlong marriage and divorce, raising 3 amazing women and enjoying the belssings of 3 gorgeous Grandsons.
  • Susan opens her heart up in her trainings, teaching Yoga and Ayurveda in a comprehensible manner and sharing her own personal experience, helping you learn tools that may benefit you in your own life.
  • Her teaching has an emphasis on the Yoga of Knowledge (Jnana Yoga). It’s a practical approach and it comes from her lived experience. She shares many personal stories that help implement the Ancient teachings into the modern world.
  • Susan’s passion is felt during her trainings as her energy radiates out and you can’t help but believe there is a bigger force at play in the universe beyond our limited experience.

Susan’s belief is that Love conquers all and she is a very supportive teacher. You will love every hour with her and her intention in this training is for you to find the love and compassion for yourself that when you leave the training you will have the tools to live your best life and follow your dreams.

Susan is living proof that through self-belief, unwavering faith, good people around you, you can conquer anything that life throws at you.

In her training she will help you get super clear on your values and teach you how to access the higher mind.

From Susan in her own words

“Without the darkness in my own life I wouldn’t be the mentor I am today. If I knew my deepest values earlier, I may have avoided a lot of my own pain and suffering. I wasn’t that smart unfortunately and it wasn’t my path. I witness a lot of us humans need to make mistake after mistake after mistake to wake up. Becoming more aware and becoming clear of our values we can make wiser choices and adopt a mindset that makes our life so much better, beyond our wildest dreams. I can’t wait to meet you and lead you through the training that will change your life in so many amazing ways.”

TESTIMONIALS

I absolutely recommend Unity Yoga Ayurveda! There is so much support from Susan & the other students. Even if you don’t want to teach yoga, it can teach us simply a better way of living our life & to be healthy in mind & body. The friendships made with the other students are for life.

I can say that I am now a better person holistically and I am able to take better care of my body. I like that Susan is committed, walks the walk, lives the lifestyle and is authentic. She invests herself in the training this is why I will definitely recommend her Yoga Teacher Training.

~ Dolly ~

I joined Yoga Teacher Training because I want to begin a lifelong journey of growth, understanding of the 8 Limbs of yoga, knowledge, and healing. And this training taught me about awareness, empowerment, aligning and expanding my practice and studying yoga on a deeper level.

~ Terri ~

What I liked the best about teacher training is that.. Susan is a compassionate and kind person as well as an experienced yogi and teacher. I wouldn’t have been taught by anyone else. She encourages connection and love throughout her teachings. She taught me to be kind to myself, and improved Mental Health. I feel content and more grounded within my life.

During this week, you’ll enjoy the rich culture and unspoilt nature of Fiji, the place where happiness comes naturally. We’re in Savusavu in Fiji’s North – known as the Hidden Paradise because it really is! We’ll take you out to snorkel on the beautiful coral reefs, to plunge into fresh waterfalls, to visit traditional Fijian villages where you’ll see a deeply hospitable corner of Fiji.

We’ve got a full programme planned – with some spare time to just relax.
