The morning class will follow the above program, with an emphasis on waking the body, mind and spirit. The late afternoon practice will take the form of restorative yoga, with time to really explore the deeper path to meditation.
Yoga Nidra will also form part of the afternoon practice. This is a specialised form of conscious relaxation which has profound effects on the human body (30 minutes of Nidra is said to be equivalent to approximately 4 hours sleep).
The evolving practice will unfold over the week, delving into the benefits of having a regular practice of meditation, and steps to help release blockages that might prevent a fulfilling meditation practice.
