Jodie’s business name, Vibrant Health and Lifestyle, is as good a guide as any to what she’s all about. She’s into high energy living, eating well, relaxing deeply and enjoying whatever the local  environment offers – which, for this retreat in Fiji, means warmth, excitement and joy.

Every morning, there’s an hour’s yoga class. Jodie focuses on yoga for beginners and intermediate levels, allowing the individuals to practice correct alignment and the connection and importance of breath and body movement.

In the late afternoon, she will be offering a Nia practice.

Nia dance movement is a form of body medicine it is a sensory based movement practice that leaves you feeling uplifted and alive. Based on the science of the bodies way it empowers people of all ages body types and fitness abilities by connecting the body mind emotions and spirit.

Inspired by the martial arts, dance arts and healing arts, Nia is a transformational movement and lifestyle practice which draws on the chemistry of nine movement forms, Tai Chi, Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Jazz, Modern dance, Duncan dance, Yoga, the Alexander Technique and the work of Moshe feldenkrais.

Jodie is a certified professional in several areas of health & wellbeing who lives in Lennox Head NSW Australia. She is the owner of Vibrant Health & Lifestyle which was established in 2003.

Jodie is inspired to help individuals in creating a healthy happy vibrant life and state of wellbeing. Her aim is to have an impact on your life in a very positive way. She has a gentle approach to help achieve your goals .

Her passions include Dance, yoga, nutrition, travel & healthy living with balance.

Daily Programme

The programme is structured around a morning practice with afternoons for activities and free time to enjoy a massage, snorkelling, or relaxing by the pool before returning to the Shala for restorative afternoon practice and a stunning Savusavu sunset.

Note: the order of workshops may vary depending upon weather conditions.The listed activities are part of the course and are covered by your fees. If you want to add on extra excursions, eg. diving, you are welcome to do so and they will be added to your bill.
