In order to secure your booking, a non-refundable deposit of $400 per person is required.  If there is more than one person on your form, please allow for their deposit as well as yours when you authorise the payment. Our full terms and conditions can be seen here.

At the moment we just ask for a $400 deposit. As soon as we have reached the required minimum numbers we will confirm the course and you can go ahead and purchase your flights. Your deposit is fully refundable if the course does not happen. (We ask you to wait for us to confirm the course because, depending on what class of flight you book, airlines will normally only issue a credit or sometimes no refund at all.)

Art without Paint: pastels and charcoal with Nola Cameron Nov 12 -19

COURSE CONFIRMED.Using the directness and vibrancy of pastels, you’ll learn to create works that capture atmosphere and light in a moment in time. You’ll be studying seascapes, landscapes and flowers and foliage. Charcoal is an equally fascinating medium. It encourages you to look at line, tone and texture. It’s a free, flexible art form which can be expressive and bold or mysterious and subtle.

Watercolours and Sketching with Malcolm Carver : Nov 19 – 26

COURSE CONFIRMED.Using simple but proven methods of capturing the image, seeing simple shapes, creating depth and appreciating light, Malcolm will build your confidence day by day. By the end of the week you will have produced a sketch book of drawings and paintings that capture the essence of the world around us and that you will be extremely proud of.

Portraits with David Wells March 18 – 25, 2017

David’s workshops provide you with an exhilarating, rewarding and above all accessible approach to painting portraits, using the medium of pastels. A well recognized painter of considerable ability, he doesn’t like the word ‘talent’ as it suggests that painting has hidden keys that not everyone can unlock.

Creating a drawn or painted image is different for each of us, as we all see and work differently, with different vision. This week will be about opening your mind and refining your techniques to embrace the many aspects of drawing: capturing memories of a great trip, giving expression to a mood in a cafe, or preserving the face of a friend you value.

Painting paradise: Seascapes and landscapes with Elena Parashko 10 – 17 June 2017

Elena is a calm, nurturing teacher who takes her students step by step through the process of creating and perfecting the seascapes and landscapes of the rich tropical environment of Fiji. Her demonstrations are constructed so as to really show her class how to achieve an effect, and she stops to give each and every student personal attention on that path.

Join Terri for her inspiring workshop in Fiji and learn how to convey a fresh and impressionistic portrayal of your subjects. She will work with the vibrant local landscape, going to locations and working back at Daku Resort. Her focus on underpainting helps to establish strong value-patterns and compositions so as to keep it vibrant and fresh, and avoid the pitfalls of overworking.

There is a strong focus on core stability and strength within each session and a positive attitude towards achieving balance and abundance in health and well-being. Every day there will be two sessions of an hour and a half each: an early morning sunrise session, and a late afternoon practice, with a break on Wednesday afternoon.

Yin Yang Yoga retreat with Erika Josa: June 3 – 10
